It's easy to get started on your membership

  • Make an appointment online and choose a convenient time and Branch that's best for you.
  • On appointment day, remember to provide valid government issued photo ID, $5 for opening deposit, and proof of physical address in Yuma or La Paz County, Arizona.
  • Residents in other counties* can join by making a zero-dollar donation through our Community Impact Fund (CIF). We'll open your Share Savings Account with a $5 opening deposit. Join by making a zero-dollar donation through Community Impact Fund (CIF).

Membership Eligibility

  • Membership at Avenir Financial is open to you or an immediate family member who lives, works, worships, or attends school in either Yuma or La Paz County, Arizona. Residents in other counties* can join by making a zero-dollar donation through our Community Impact Fund (CIF). 
  • Access money saving benefits and discounts to shopping, travel, auto, home and insurance services that are your Member Perks once your Share Savings Account is established. 
  • When applying for a loan, become a member first as membership will be required before your loan is funded. Avenir Financials' low-rate loans save members more! Simply get started by applying online.
  • Kids and youth, age 18 and under can become members too! Make an appointment to visit a branch in person as your child's legal guardian and adult co-signer. We'll call with a helpful checklist after you make an appointment.

*Avenir Financial offers financial services to residents in 22 counties spanning four states: Arizona, California, Nevada, and New Mexico.
